Two days when the whole value chain is in one room.
The Sugar, Ethanol and Bioenergy India Conference: our annual gathering of the people who set the industry's direction.

Where the industry talks to itself.
SEIC is our annual conference for the sugar, ethanol and bioenergy sector. It brings the people who set the industry's direction into one room: millers, distillers, traders, policymakers, oil marketing companies, suppliers and buyers.
The first edition was held in Mumbai in 2022. The second and third followed in New Delhi, in 2023 and February 2024. The fourth was held in New Delhi in January 2025, and the fifth in Mumbai in June 2026.
Senior decision-makers, across the value chain.
Co-operative and private millers, distillery owners, OMCs, OEMs, traders, exporters, institutional buyers, green fuel leaders, agritech companies and startups, industry associations, and the policymakers and regulators who shape the rules they all work under, from the DFPD to the Cane Commissioner's office.
Much of what moves the sugar and ethanol sector is decided in conversation, and SEIC is where many of those conversations happen. Across two days of structured sessions, the agenda runs from policy and ethanol production to market trends, investment and technology. For a sector spread across many companies and regions, it is one of the few times each year when the whole value chain is in the same place.
Who shows up.
Past editions have included union ministers and senior government officials, the DFPD and the Cane Commissioner's office, oil marketing companies and equipment manufacturers, millers, distillers, traders, research institutes and industry associations.
SEIA: the awards night.
Held on the first day of SEIC, the Sugar and Ethanol International Awards recognise the people and organisations driving the sector forward. The evening also gives the industry a rare moment to network across every part of the chain at once. More on SEIA
